Active House Vision
This document sets out the principles and rationale for designing to the Active House standard. It can be used as the first step to have a dialogue between the designer and the client, to better understand their needs and which aspects are important to them. Importantly though, it ensures that holistic consideration is given to the design of the building in terms of indoor comfort, energy and the environment.
Active House Specification 3.0
This document sets out the qualitative and quantitative requirements for creating an Active House. The qualitative data can assist in the early design stages or a project, whilst the quantitative provides the data to create the verifiable data for the Active House Radar (and if Label if sought).

There is no one design solution to creating an Active House, and it aims to be a flexible and achievable standard. This document provides some practical strategies to achieving Active House building.
